The Cultural Events Program shares the vast
cultural resources of New York City with those with limited
access to the cultural mainstream. HAI opens the world of
concert halls and theaters to individuals who are culturally
isolated due to mental or physical disability, frailty or
age, impaired immunity, illness, homelessness or substance
abuse. Public school students and other groups are also able
to take advantage of the city’s cultural resources through
HAI’s group sales department. HAI also produces its
own events, such as Natalie Douglas in concert and the annual
Holiday Show, both pictured below, at accessible times and
venues in all five boroughs of New York City.
